# Moves by Maxon vs Almighty Note

The clearest difference is update cadence: Almighty Note at fortnightly against Moves by Maxon's every 5 months. Almighty Note also leads on rating (3.2 vs 2.9) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Moves by Maxon's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Almighty Note holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Moves by Maxon's written reviews are positive against 25% of Almighty Note's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Moves by Maxon ships an update every 5 months, Almighty Note fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
