# Ikon Pass vs RaceSync

Ikon Pass and RaceSync both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of RaceSync's written reviews are positive against 13% of Ikon Pass's. RaceSync also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.5). Ikon Pass's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (28K vs 53). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RaceSync holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ikon Pass has 28K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 13% of Ikon Pass's written reviews are positive against 100% of RaceSync's.

Ikon Pass ships an update every 9 days, RaceSync every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
