# Ikon Pass vs Flowbase

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ikon Pass at none against Flowbase's 6. Ikon Pass also leads on ratings volume (28K vs 2) and chart position (#182 vs unranked). Flowbase's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flowbase sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Ikon Pass asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flowbase holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ikon Pass has 28K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
