# Surf Taco vs Round Pie

The clearest difference is ads: Surf Taco at none against Round Pie's shown. Surf Taco also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 4). Round Pie's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Round Pie holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Surf Taco has 3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Surf Taco ships an update fortnightly, Round Pie every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
