# Surf Taco vs Due

Surf Taco and Due both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Due's written reviews are positive against 21% of Surf Taco's. Surf Taco's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 60). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Due holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Surf Taco has 3K ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 21% of Surf Taco's written reviews are positive against 100% of Due's.

Surf Taco ships an update fortnightly, Due every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
