# Morgap vs Smart Gift

The clearest difference is monetization model: Morgap at free against Smart Gift's paid. Smart Gift's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 8) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Smart Gift holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Gift has 2.2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Morgap's written reviews are positive against 95% of Smart Gift's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Morgap ships an update every 3 weeks, Smart Gift every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
