# web vs Ikes

The clearest difference is rating: Ikes at 4.7 against web's 1.0. Ikes also leads on ratings volume (31 vs 1). web's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ikes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. web asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ikes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ikes has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

web ships an update every 4 weeks, Ikes every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
