# NX Play vs Sofa Time

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NX Play at none against Sofa Time's 8. NX Play also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Sofa Time's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sofa Time sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.29 per month. NX Play asks for nothing beyond the download.
