# Wi vs Ping

The clearest difference is ads: Ping at none against Wi's shown. Ping also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ping sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wi ships an update every 2 months, Ping every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
