# Spin Wheel Decisions vs Spin the Wheel

The clearest difference is monetization model: Spin the Wheel at free with in-app purchases against Spin Wheel Decisions's subscription. Spin the Wheel also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). Spin Wheel Decisions's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 35%) and ratings volume (20K vs 3.3K). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spin Wheel Decisions sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Spin the Wheel sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Spin Wheel Decisions against 4.5 for Spin the Wheel. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spin Wheel Decisions has 20K ratings behind it against 3.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 52% of Spin Wheel Decisions's written reviews are positive against 35% of Spin the Wheel's.

Spin Wheel Decisions ships an update every 5 weeks, Spin the Wheel weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
