# Super Productivity vs PrivacyNotes

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Super Productivity at none against PrivacyNotes's 4. Super Productivity also leads on ratings volume (31 vs 1). PrivacyNotes's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrivacyNotes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Super Productivity asks for nothing beyond the download.

PrivacyNotes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Super Productivity has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Super Productivity ships an update weekly, PrivacyNotes every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
