# Bearable vs The Hive

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: The Hive at none against Bearable's 13. The Hive also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (9.0.0 vs 15.1). Bearable's advantage is ratings volume (6.5K vs 1) and chart position (#199 vs unranked). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bearable sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. The Hive asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Hive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bearable has 6.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
