# Clip vs Pometro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pometro at every 2 days against Clip's every 2 months. Clip's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pometro sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clip ships an update every 2 months, Pometro every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
