# Open vs Sādhaka Studio

Open and Sādhaka Studio both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Sādhaka Studio's written reviews are positive against 60% of Open's. Sādhaka Studio also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Open's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Open sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Sādhaka Studio sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Open against 5.0 for Sādhaka Studio. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Open has 18K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Open's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sādhaka Studio's.

Open ships an update weekly, Sādhaka Studio monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
