# Base PRO vs XenoScript

The clearest difference is monetization model: XenoScript at free against Base PRO's paid. XenoScript also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Base PRO's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12 vs 16.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Base PRO ships an update every 4 months, XenoScript every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
