# Yuletide Legends vs Paranormal Files 9

The clearest difference is rating: Yuletide Legends at 4.7 against Paranormal Files 9's 3.6. Yuletide Legends also leads on ratings volume (237 vs 17). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yuletide Legends sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Paranormal Files 9 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Yuletide Legends holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yuletide Legends has 237 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Yuletide Legends's written reviews are positive against 53% of Paranormal Files 9's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
