# Live Free Community vs Reconstruct U

The clearest difference is monetization model: Reconstruct U at free with in-app purchases against Live Free Community's subscription. Live Free Community's advantage is ratings volume (159 vs 15). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Free Community sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Reconstruct U sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Live Free Community against 4.9 for Reconstruct U. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Free Community has 159 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Live Free Community ships an update every 9 days, Reconstruct U weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
