# Freedom vs Strength Up

The clearest difference is update cadence: Strength Up at monthly against Freedom's every 6 months. Freedom's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freedom sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $229.99 per year and Strength Up sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Freedom against 5.0 for Strength Up. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 3 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Freedom ships an update every 6 months, Strength Up monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
