# Freedom vs Sobbr

The clearest difference is rating: Freedom at 5.0 against Sobbr's 3.0. Freedom also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Sobbr's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 6 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freedom sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $229.99 per year and Sobbr sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Freedom holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 4 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Freedom's written reviews are positive against 60% of Sobbr's.
