# Alchemy Chef vs Shishke Bob

Alchemy Chef and Shishke Bob both sit at 3.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 76% of Shishke Bob's written reviews are positive against 25% of Alchemy Chef's. Shishke Bob also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). Alchemy Chef's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (12 vs 3). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alchemy Chef sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Shishke Bob sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alchemy Chef holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Alchemy Chef's written reviews are positive against 76% of Shishke Bob's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Alchemy Chef ships an update every 5 weeks, Shishke Bob weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
