# Auditorium vs PRTV+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Auditorium at 100% against PRTV+'s 40%. Auditorium also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). PRTV+'s advantage is ratings volume (286 vs 9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Auditorium sells 24 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and PRTV+ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Auditorium holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PRTV+ has 286 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Auditorium's written reviews are positive against 40% of PRTV+'s.

Auditorium ships an update every 2 months, PRTV+ every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
