# PotensicPro vs Trace

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trace at every 9 days against PotensicPro's every 6 weeks. PotensicPro's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

PotensicPro ships an update every 6 weeks, Trace every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
