# iVVallpaper vs uShield

The clearest difference is rating: uShield at 5.0 against iVVallpaper's 2.7. uShield also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 11 months). iVVallpaper's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iVVallpaper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and uShield sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

uShield holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iVVallpaper has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iVVallpaper ships an update every 11 months, uShield weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
