# Budgerigar vs Goal Setter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Goal Setter at 100% against Budgerigar's 25%. Goal Setter also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). Budgerigar's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Budgerigar sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Goal Setter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
