# Going Merry Scholarships vs Bastter.com

Going Merry Scholarships and Bastter.com both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of Going Merry Scholarships's written reviews are positive against 38% of Bastter.com's. Going Merry Scholarships also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 4). Bastter.com's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bastter.com holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Going Merry Scholarships has 10K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Going Merry Scholarships's written reviews are positive against 38% of Bastter.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
