# AR星座 vs Star Registry

The clearest difference is ads: Star Registry at none against AR星座's shown. AR星座's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 18 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AR星座 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Star Registry sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AR星座 ships an update monthly, Star Registry every 18 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
