# CommentExtractor vs CraftNote

The clearest difference is rating: CraftNote at 4.7 against CommentExtractor's 3.7. CraftNote also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (53% vs 24%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CommentExtractor sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and CraftNote sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CraftNote holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CraftNote has 4.7K ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 24% of CommentExtractor's written reviews are positive against 53% of CraftNote's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on June 8, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
