# Scroll to Mars vs Ship Simulator

The clearest difference is ads: Scroll to Mars at none against Ship Simulator's shown. Scroll to Mars also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Ship Simulator's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scroll to Mars sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ship Simulator sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scroll to Mars ships an update every 6 weeks, Ship Simulator every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
