# Castle Founder vs Castle Untold

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Castle Untold at 100% against Castle Founder's 50%. Castle Untold also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 56 months). Castle Founder's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Castle Founder sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Castle Untold sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Castle Founder holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Castle Founder has 22 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Castle Founder's written reviews are positive against 100% of Castle Untold's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Castle Founder ships an update every 56 months, Castle Untold every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
