# SwitchedOn vs Bobo Pro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bobo Pro at none against SwitchedOn's 8. Bobo Pro also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.5). SwitchedOn's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (336 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SwitchedOn sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Bobo Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bobo Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SwitchedOn has 336 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SwitchedOn ships an update every 10 days, Bobo Pro every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
