# Frontier X vs Elonga

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Frontier X at 82% against Elonga's 44%. Frontier X also leads on ratings volume (318 vs 22). Elonga's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frontier X sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Elonga asks for nothing beyond the download.

Elonga holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Frontier X has 318 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Frontier X's written reviews are positive against 44% of Elonga's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Frontier X ships an update every 3 weeks, Elonga every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
