# Live wallpapers vs Lockd Lock Screen Wallpapers

The clearest difference is rating: Lockd Lock Screen Wallpapers at 4.7 against Live wallpapers's 3.7. Lockd Lock Screen Wallpapers also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (4K vs 6). Live wallpapers's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 26%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live wallpapers sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Lockd Lock Screen Wallpapers sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lockd Lock Screen Wallpapers holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lockd Lock Screen Wallpapers has 4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Live wallpapers's written reviews are positive against 26% of Lockd Lock Screen Wallpapers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Live wallpapers ships an update every 16 months, Lockd Lock Screen Wallpapers every 8 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
