# My Font vs RixFontCloud

The clearest difference is rating: My Font at 4.2 against RixFontCloud's 2.5. My Font also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 2). RixFontCloud's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Font sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. RixFontCloud asks for nothing beyond the download.

My Font holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Font has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of My Font's written reviews are positive against 44% of RixFontCloud's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Font ships an update every 3 months, RixFontCloud every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
