# VPN Proxy vs VPN Fastway

The clearest difference is monetization model: VPN Proxy at free with in-app purchases against VPN Fastway's subscription. VPN Proxy also leads on review sentiment (59% vs 25%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). VPN Fastway's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Proxy sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and VPN Fastway sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Fastway holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 152 and 56 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of VPN Proxy's written reviews are positive against 25% of VPN Fastway's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Proxy ships an update every 2 months, VPN Fastway every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
