# Loop it vs Hand Control

The clearest difference is rating: Loop it at 5.0 against Hand Control's 4.5. Loop it also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Hand Control's advantage is ratings volume (737 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop it sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Hand Control sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loop it holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hand Control has 737 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
