# Traffix 3D vs Open Piano

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Open Piano at 75% against Traffix 3D's 25%. Open Piano also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). Traffix 3D's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 3). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Traffix 3D sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Open Piano asks for nothing beyond the download.

Traffix 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Traffix 3D has 1.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Traffix 3D's written reviews are positive against 75% of Open Piano's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Traffix 3D ships an update monthly, Open Piano every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
