# ChatCat vs Saven

The clearest difference is update cadence: ChatCat at every 6 weeks against Saven's every 37 months. ChatCat also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChatCat sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Saven sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChatCat ships an update every 6 weeks, Saven every 37 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
