# GogoMath vs Math 123

The clearest difference is monetization model: Math 123 at free with in-app purchases against GogoMath's subscription. Math 123 also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). GogoMath's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (65K vs 8). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GogoMath sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Math 123 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Math 123 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GogoMath has 65K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of GogoMath's written reviews are positive against 100% of Math 123's.

GogoMath ships an update every 2 months, Math 123 every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
