# XiL Pro vs LERC

The clearest difference is rating: LERC at 5.0 against XiL Pro's 3.1. LERC also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). XiL Pro's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LERC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XiL Pro has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

XiL Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, LERC every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
