# XiL Pro vs XL FLY

The clearest difference is rating: XL FLY at 3.7 against XiL Pro's 3.1. XiL Pro's advantage is review sentiment (30% vs 0%) and ratings volume (25 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XL FLY holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XiL Pro has 25 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of XiL Pro's written reviews are positive against 0% of XL FLY's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XiL Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, XL FLY fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
