# Resume CV Maker vs Fish Identifier

The clearest difference is rating: Resume CV Maker at 4.3 against Fish Identifier's 3.6. Fish Identifier's advantage is review sentiment (68% vs 35%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resume CV Maker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Fish Identifier sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Resume CV Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 72 and 44 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Resume CV Maker's written reviews are positive against 68% of Fish Identifier's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Resume CV Maker ships an update every 5 weeks, Fish Identifier every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
