# Earth Class Mail vs Filing.Cab

The clearest difference is monetization model: Filing.Cab at free against Earth Class Mail's freemium. Filing.Cab also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Earth Class Mail's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Filing.Cab holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Earth Class Mail has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Earth Class Mail ships an update every 2 weeks, Filing.Cab every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
