# 7tasks vs COGS

The clearest difference is rating: COGS at 5.0 against 7tasks's 2.7. 7tasks's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

COGS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 7tasks has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

7tasks ships an update every 2 months, COGS every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
