# Pronet VPN vs Leaf VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Leaf VPN at 58% against Pronet VPN's 0%. Leaf VPN also leads on ratings volume (389 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Pronet VPN's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pronet VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Leaf VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pronet VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Leaf VPN has 389 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Pronet VPN's written reviews are positive against 58% of Leaf VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pronet VPN ships an update every 6 weeks, Leaf VPN every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
