# Pollo Live Pro vs WritingFriend

The clearest difference is rating: WritingFriend at 5.0 against Pollo Live Pro's 4.4. WritingFriend also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). Pollo Live Pro's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WritingFriend holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pollo Live Pro has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 50% and 50% positive.
