# Phoring vs dialbird

The clearest difference is rating: dialbird at 5.0 against Phoring's 4.2. Phoring's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 37%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Phoring sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and dialbird sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

dialbird holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Phoring's written reviews are positive against 37% of dialbird's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
