# Bzigo vs Airthings

The clearest difference is rating: Airthings at 4.4 against Bzigo's 1.2. Airthings also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 5) and review sentiment (33% vs 13%). Bzigo's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Airthings holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Airthings has 3K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 13% of Bzigo's written reviews are positive against 33% of Airthings's.

Bzigo ships an update every 3 weeks, Airthings fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
