# omokake vs Pipplee

The clearest difference is review sentiment: omokake at 100% against Pipplee's 40%. omokake also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Pipplee's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. omokake sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pipplee sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

omokake holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pipplee has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of omokake's written reviews are positive against 40% of Pipplee's.

omokake ships an update every 10 months, Pipplee every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
