# Jeni's vs Cafe Mixx

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Jeni's at 3.6K against Cafe Mixx's 1. Cafe Mixx's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Jeni's against 5.0 for Cafe Mixx. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jeni's has 3.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Jeni's ships an update every 2 months, Cafe Mixx every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
