# NeoTaste vs Bubble CiTea

The clearest difference is update cadence: NeoTaste at weekly against Bubble CiTea's every 3 months. NeoTaste also leads on ratings volume (65 vs 1) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Bubble CiTea's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bubble CiTea holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NeoTaste has 65 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of NeoTaste's written reviews are positive against 31% of Bubble CiTea's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NeoTaste ships an update weekly, Bubble CiTea every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
